This following concept portrays a video submission only. (a soft piano plays - somewhat like Beethoven's sonatas) The video fadesfrom black into a time lapse of the world, spinning, then into a busy street in new york also in fast time lapse. As the video then transitions into a time lapse of a person typing at an internet cafe, a narrator speaks in a low, gravely, soft voice. "I was once asked, 'Why do we love the internet.' " -*Short pause*- "A network of networks, (the video transitions to a large computer network system) consisting of vast arrarys of information and inter-connectivity, which allowed little Susan (a time lapse of a little girl learning to play the recorder from a streaming video) to gain the knowledge of music." Transitions to a time lapse of of a phone call between a man and a woman, from a long distance area (say China to US). -*Short pause*- "No longer is the time of pricey phone calls, instead, (video then transitions from a phone call into a computer with a mic hooked up) one click through the internet and your in a conversation with the ones you love. " Transition to a time lapse of a crowd of people laughing at a stand up comedian in a comedy club. The video then zooms into the comedian and transitions to a streaming video of him on the internet. "With internet, entertainment is brought right into your room, without any price." Video then fades to black. -*Medium pause*- "Why do I (emphasis on the word 'I") love the internet?" Video focusing in on an old man's frail old hands at a keyboard sending the following message on the computer screen: "I look forward to seeing you, <3 Dad" Video then transitions to a family reunion with the narrator (an old, happy single man) in the middle of a hug as he says goodbye to his daughter and son. The camera zooms into his face as he embraces his children, as they leave to go home. A tear streaks down his face. The video then fades to black, and transitions to the logo , "I love Internet" The narrator then quietly says , "Because I will always be connected." The video then transitions to the logo for Telecom and WIRED, and then fades to black, as the piano music fades out.
