10 Lug 2009, 00:26I interpret the flowers as fans. I agree Brad is no faker. This guy can throw down on guitar. But many of the GR8TS in the blues world cam from Chicago and Texas. But blues can only be linked to one state. Which is the birth place of many fabulous sounds. Nashville is not it. Although Nashville is clearly country town……. Los Angeles is Nashville with a tan…………….. My opinion is with artist such as Brad and bands like Sugarland country is back on the map and it can’t be messed with now. Not since the cross-over took the world by storm.. You can now hear every type of of music on different radio stations. People will listen to what ever sounds good. Right now country is blowing heavy metal off the map. I have been playing guitar for most of my life. My background is Texas blues. And I’m from Texas dammit……….

08 Lug 2009, 16:43I don’t really understand what you were trying to accomplish with the dancing sunflowers and they are on screef for a very long time. The imagery is nice, but I’m not sure what it adds to the message. I’m not sure I know what you wanted to do with the words “Brad Paisley effect” but I interpret it to mean the album is changing the history of music. I don’t really agree with that message but it’s subjective so that is not influencing my score. The second half of the video is much stronger, but I think you could have done more with it. The calendar was a good idea but would have been more effective if you had zoomed in on June 30th so we could see clearly that every day is Saturday. You entered and exited the song in places I wouldn’t have picked, but I think you did that very well and your choices worked for me. Overall, 5/10.
